Picking up where *Everybody Talks* left off, *Lessons in Love (All Day, All Night)* follows Tyler Glenn as he finds himself trapped inside a surreal high school nightmare where the rules of reality seem to constantly shift. What begins as an ordinary day quickly descends into chaos as classrooms, hallways, and authority figures take on an increasingly bizarre and unsettling tone. Blending humor, horror, and a healthy dose of Halloween-inspired imagery, the video transforms a familiar school setting into a dreamlike world filled with strange characters, unexpected twists, and a growing zombie outbreak. As the situation spirals out of control, Tyler is forced to navigate the madness while trying to escape a world that seems determined to consume him. Equal parts teen comedy, horror homage, and music-fueled fever dream, the video pays tribute to classic zombie films and iconic pop-culture influences while expanding the strange universe established in *Everybody Talks*. The result is a playful, energetic continuation that embraces the band's signature mix of catchy pop hooks and offbeat storytelling.

On Lessons in Love (All Day, All Night), my work focused on both the edit and visual effects, helping continue the story established in Everybody Talks. As the second chapter in the band's interconnected music video series, the project reunited much of the same cast and crew, allowing us to build directly on the visual language and world we had already established.

The video was filmed at the former Linda Vista Community Hospital, a location our team at Weapons of Mass Entertainment had worked in several times before. Its long corridors, aging interior, and naturally eerie atmosphere provided the perfect backdrop for the video's transformation from a seemingly normal school day into a full-blown zombie nightmare.

One of the biggest production challenges was the schedule. The entire video was shot in a single day, beginning with the classroom scenes staged as a typical school environment. After dinner, production shifted into the horror portion of the shoot. The same sets were relit and transformed while the cast underwent extensive zombie makeup applications as quickly as possible to maximize our limited shooting time. Watching an ordinary classroom evolve into a chaotic zombie outbreak over the course of a few hours was one of the most impressive parts of the production.

As editor, my focus was on maintaining continuity between Everybody Talks and Lessons in Love while balancing the video's shifting tone. The story moves from comedy to suspense to full horror parody, and the pacing had to support each transition without losing momentum. On the visual effects side, I worked to enhance the practical makeup and horror elements while helping sell the increasingly surreal world the characters find themselves trapped inside.
