I handled visual effects, working through a deceptively complex product challenge. The client decided after the shoot that the label needed to face camera... even though that orientation was technically backwards for the product. So the solution had to be built entirely in post.

I replaced the label with an updated design and color, but because the bottle wasn’t presenting a flat, front-facing surface, it required a mix of 3D tracking and non-planar tracking to get everything to sit correctly. The geometry and movement made it more involved than a standard screen replacement, especially in maintaining proper perspective, curvature, and lighting interaction.

The goal was to make the change feel completely natural; like it had always been shot that way, despite the fact that it physically couldn’t have been. One of those invisible VFX problems where if it works, no one notices… which is exactly the point.
